Safework Australia reports that falls from a height account for 30 per cent of fatalities within the construction industry – the highest cause by far – and every year around 11% of these are electricians.


RIIWHS204E Work Safely at Heights/ CPPCCCM2012 Work safely at heights

The Solar Training Centre offers this unique safety at heights course specifically designed for solar installers, electricians and other trades who work at heights.

In this one-day course, our highly experienced Instructors will teach you the knowledge and skills you need to:

Course Includes:

  • Understand and meet the legal and technical requirements for working safely at heights
  • Identify and manage hazards and risks associated with working at heights
  • Selection and safe use of personal protective equipment
  • Safety systems including falls protection and associated equipment
  • Safe work methods of working at heights

Duration:
Total 8 hours of training and assessment – Start 8.15 for 8.30 am – finish 4.30 pm

Class starts sharply on time – Late arrivals not admitted

You must be:
18 years of age and have the ability to read/write/understand basic English.

Fee Includes:
Learner Manual, Training, Assessment, Statement of Attainment, Competency Card

Assessment:
