Course – mandated by Essential Services Commission Vic

Weather Sealing Safely with Gas Appliances – Course for VEU Installers 

Green Business Audit & Training is the only training organisation approved to deliver the training module “Weather Sealing Safely for Gas Appliances ” mandated by Essential Services Commission Victoria since May 2023.

All VEU program Retrofit Installers wishing to undertake weather sealing activities need to complete this training module – except those licensed to undertake gas fitting work, Type A appliance conversion work and/or Type A appliance servicing.

The course fee is $100 + gst – payable at the time of enrolment (you will be prompted to pay whilst filling out our online enrolment form)

Once your enrolment and payment are received, you’ll receive an email on how to log into our online learning system and commence your course.

This course is “non-accredited” – i.e doesn’t result in a national qualification. You’ll receive a Certificate of Completion via email within 48 business hours after you pass.

Note – The previously available course “Retrofit to improve energy and water efficiency” is closed for enrolments.

This previous course covered some of the mandatory training outlined in the Victorian Essential Services Commission’s VEU scheme training requirements. It required VEU Retrofit Installers to complete the course in order to install low flow shower heads, weather sealing products and other products under the VEU scheme.

As at 01.01.2026 this is no longer a mandatory training requirement for VEU scheme Retrofit Installers.
